๐ฅค Cup Name-Tag
Snap-on rim tag with the name engraved front & back. Set your cup and print the two STLs in two colours.
Import both in one go as a single multi-part object; assign a colour to each. See the guidelines below for print settings.
Print & usage guidelines
Printing (Bambu Studio, two-colour)
- Import BOTH STLs in one go (Ctrl-click both in the file dialog).
- "Load these files as a single object with multiple parts?" โ YES. Never move the parts individually โ they are pre-aligned.
- Filament 1 โ body part, filament 2 โ letters part.
- Select the object, press F ("lay on face"), click the flat TOP of the tag. No supports needed โ both engravings are on vertical faces.
- 0.12โ0.16 mm layers, 3 walls, seam position: Back. PETG preferred (springier clip); PLA works, snap on gently.
Single-colour alternative: print only the body and fill the engravings with acrylic paint or wax crayon, then wipe the surfaces flat.
Fit tightness
0.80 is the print-validated default for the original cup. Lower = tighter grip. If a tag slides off, go down ~0.05; if it won't snap on, go up. Re-tune with 1โ2 test prints when you change to a very different cup.
For a different cup
Set the rim outer diameter and wall thickness to slide the whole validated cross-section onto your cup, then re-tune fit tightness with a test print.
